The second edition of Samsung Rex Mirchi Music Awards Bangla was organized at the Science City Auditorium here on 28th April at 6 pm. Top Tollywood glitterati congregated to celebrate the event.
The show was hosted by Radio Mirchi RJ Mir and Tollywood actress June Malia.
From Prosenjit Chatterjee and Arjun Chakraborty to singer Jojo and Surojit Sarkar, the show showcased ample stars.
Ace music composer Bappi Lahiri was spotted with his son Bappa during the event.
Sriram Yousuf was adjudged the best upcoming music composer for "E Kon Aadhar".
Srabani Sen and Kaushiki Desikan were awarded the best female vocalist(s) of Rabindra Sangeet for "Yatra-2".
Rupankar Bagchi was considered the best male vocalist of Rabindra Sangeet for "Je Raate Mor Duar Gooli".
The best music composer award went to Samir Chatterjee for "Tara Dhaka Megh".
Lopamudra Mitra also won the best female vocalist award for "Tara Dhaka Megh".
