Calcutta, India, May 25, 2012 "Awara" is the next commercial Bengali movie
from the house of Sri Venkatesh Films. This will mark the first time Sayantika
is paired with Bengali action hero Jeet.According to initial reports from
Kolkata, Jeet plays the role of "Surjo" and Sayantika is "Poulomi" in the film.

Sayantika's 2010 appearance in Raja Chanda's Target opposite Joy Mukherjee
was pretty popular. In Prabhat Ray's Hangover (2010) she appeared against
superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee. She played a lead role with Arya Babbar,
Pooja Bharati and Prosenjit Chatterjee in Aziz Sajwal's 2011 Bengali
debut film Paapi (Papi).

In the meanwhile, watch the popular song Chollish Peroleyi
from Hangover once again. Music is by Bappa Lahiri, son of Disco
guru Bappi Lahiri.
